Notice of Public Hearing: Request for Variance for Chateau at the Lake

Notice of Public Hearing


A public hearing will be held by the Warren County Board of Adjustment (BOA) on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at 6:00 PM in the Warren County Armory Civic Center located at 501 US Highway 158 Business East Warrenton, NC 27589. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive and review information from the applicant on the following:


#2020-01-VAR: Request for Variance (impervious surface ratio) for Chateau at the Lake as a Planned Unit Development – Commercial and Residential (PUD-CR) located at 1876 Eaton Ferry Road Littleton, NC 27850.  Property is zoned Lakeside Business (LB) (Tax Map K3-A3) on 45+/- acres in River Township.

All interested citizens are urged to attend these public meetings in compliance with the following:

Special Instructions

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the public will be limited in attending the September 2nd Warren County Board of Adjustment Meeting. No more than 15 individuals will be admitted on a first come first serve basis. Face coverings will be required and social distancing will be observed. 

The meeting will be live streamed on Facebook Live and citizens may follow the guidelines below to submit Citizen Comments. The agenda for the meeting is available on the County’s web site at: https://www.warrencountync.com/AgendaCenter

 

Rules for Citizen Comments for the September 2nd Warren County Board of Adjustment Meeting - time set aside to read aloud individual citizen comments submitted via email. Please submit your comments to WCGOV@warrencountync.gov by Wednesday September 2nd at 3:00 pm.

 

Citizens are allowed to submit one comment per person. Comments are not to exceed 350 words. Any comments submitted after 3:00 pm on September 2nd will not be read aloud by the Secretary to the Warren County Board of Adjustment.

Board of Adjustment meetings are recorded, evidence presented as part of the evidentiary hearing will be read into the record.
